Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hour days sanding floors and taking wallpaper down with one baby strapped to my back while the other babies were crawling into the playpen. Ha! The home was beginning to appear nice, however there were still many things left. In order to furnish the house it would be a huge effort with regards to budget and time. I would also have go to my favorite stores. To stay within the budget, I started going with my boys to estate sales looking for of diamonds. Our weekly routine that consisted of spending Friday through Saturday at estate sales and garage sales shopping for new and used objects. I then spent the remainder of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. My love for furniture repair began with a look similar to this. Once our home was decorated, I couldn't quit! I rented a booth in the market at my local location and sold pieces there. I eventually had numerous pieces that I did not have a clue what to do with them and my storage space was a mess. There were open houses in my home where over 1 000 people would come through in one weekend, and purchase anything they wanted in the first floor. Growing Days was created in the home. My business was not only thriving but I was growing my sweet family too. I was trying to find that perfect balance of what it was like starting a new venture as well as a mother too. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora joined us in 2013 to be our fourth baby. This was an excellent direction for my company, however, I needed a vacation. I took a pause from making vintage furniture, and I slowed down my speed to be at home to help my children. The time was right. It was only after several months that my phone began to be ringing. I was getting calls from people needing help with their interior decorating and home renovations. These were mostly customers who came to my open home to purchase furniture. Once I had a few months I began to take on customers according to my schedule. Soon I had numerous accounts as well as a home remodeling business. There is a good chance that I would have laughed if somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be the premise of an upcoming tv program in the DIY Network. It's fun to reflect about it.
