Katherine Heigl has revealed that she was brought up in a white bubble and how this realization affected how she raised adopted multiracial kids. She revealed in an interview recent interview that, when it comes to skin color there is no difference. However, after talking to her sister who is adopted in South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats people of different races. "I wanted to know Meg what she thought about being treated differently when she went out with our parents and the times she was out on her own. Meg replied "Oh Yes, all the occasion!" It made me realize I had been so naive," Heigl said to parents. The singer became angry at the time, and chose to channel her anger into support her two adopted daughters. Heigl along with her 13-year-old husband -- singer Josh Kelley -- have four-year-old son Joshua Bishop Kelley, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in 2012.
